Press Release for Rural Agree Project: “Digital Training for Agricultural Sector Entrepreneurship in Rural Areas”

“Rural Agree” Project, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ KA2 Programme of the European Union, comes to meet the European Policy about the Development of Entrepreneurship in the Agri-food Sector in Rural Areas, through the digital training of the youth, facilitating the learning of contents in business management specifically adapted to the agri-food sector in rural areas, and in the analysis and exchange of good practices.

In terms of “Rural Agree” Project, the following organizations are committed to work in partnership:

Syntra West (Belgium), Lamoro Development Agency (Italy), KAJAANIN AMMATTIKORKEAKOULU (Finland), University of Debrecen DE (Hungary), European Institute for Local Development (Greece), Creator European Consultants (Romania), SARGA (Spain).

The objective of this project is a professional qualification that promotes entrepreneurship in women and men who have bet or are interested in betting on rural areas to develop their professional activity within the agri-food sector. For this purpose, a research is being conducted, through questionnaires, oriented toward SMEs in agri-food sector.

The aim of the questionnaire is to collect already existent experiences about the promotion of entrepreneurship in rural areas, in order to prepare next action about the training activities. In particular, final deliverable of “Rural Agree” is to create a type of GAMIFICATION, emphasizing in training about management, financing, distribution and communication capacities, thus contributing to the sustainable development of rural regions.
